“ WOW! What amazing drinks, food, and service! Was not expecting this place to be nearly as good as it was. Recommending the dumplings, short rib sandwich and Sophisticated Lady (drink). The dumplings were beautifully presented, perfectly and carefully prepared, and the sauce was the best I’ve ever had. We ordered them as an app and the service was very prompt. And the SHORT RIB! That sandwich blew my socks off. It’s been three days and I’m still thinking about that thing. Holy cats that was so tender and perfectly seasoned and just immaculate. As for the drink, SO cute and SO yummy. The color was adorable and I loved what they did with the rim. It was definitely a stiff drink but the taste of alcohol was by no means oppressive. The flavors in the drink were surprisingly well balanced. The service was the best part though. Such smiley and friendly staff. I will certainly be back next time I’m in Pittsburgh. I cannot recommend this place enough. The menu is a little limited though so be sure to check ahead that you’ll find something you like! ”
“ I love this place! It's really a hidden gem and the perfect spot for a cocktail and dinner outside of the hecticness of the city with a nice view. The staff is very welcoming and professional so please visit all year round. Their open patio makes it great for summer and enclosed section is warm for winter. I actually proposed up there and everyone was very helpful and caring including the valet guys. A big shout out to Stephanie -the event manager- for making that all possible and being so accommodating! ”
“ Fantastic night out even during quarantine. They dont take reservations so come early. They have great views both inside and outside. The food was amazing as well as the drinks and the semi freedo was out of this world. Would definitely come back. ”
“ First time here! Stopped in for a snack and drinks before the Pens game and we were not disappointed. Great views from both inside and outside on the deck. Our group enjoyed delicious crafted cocktails and the seasonal Pumpkin Ale. Service was fast and friendly and the seating is great for groups large or small. Apps were fried brussel sprouts, buffalo chicken egg rolls, and roasted red pepper hummus. Next time we'll order again and have photos to share! ”
“ I actually went to school here when it was Washington polytechnic academy in middle school back in the early 2000s. Seeing this place be revamped to a hotel with a rooftop bar is actually so neat! Came here last week with my boyfriend and we had a really nice time. I got the sunset drink and enjoyed it so much I got another one. He tried a couple different drinks and loved them all. We didn’t get entrees, just wanted a snack so we got the truffle fries and they were delicious actually! The service was good overall. I’m a bartender myself and know how to read the room and knew the waitress was very busy but I think she handled herself well. We’ll definitely be back to experience more. The view is amazing as well! ”
“ On the top floor of the new TRYP hotel. Roof top bar with seating options inside and outside. Great view from anywhere you decide to sit. We were sat around their fire pit, very comfortable for conversation and to put share plates around. We had a light meal, dips plates and a short rib, food was very good. Plenty for 6. Staff was friendly. Beer, wine, cocktails, and house curated non alcoholic beverages available. ”
